I went through a very difficult space in my mid to late twenties and the pain I experienced was debilitating at times. Somehow I knew instinctively to breathe into the pain. This caused the pain intensify initially, but then at a certain point it would break open, and I could feel the pain coming out of my body in waves. I then began to experience emanations of warmth and comfort emerging from the center of my body.

The pain I experienced during this part of my life felt overwhelming. I would to continue to breathe through the pain for hours and sometimes days. And there were times when I was afraid. I didnít know if there was something seriously wrong, if I would just go over the edge, or if I would ever get through it. I later learned that this was a normal part of the healing process.

I experienced many changes as I continued to work with the breathing practice. The volume of pain that I had stuffed down inside of me began to decrease. Itís easier to get through the difficult periods and which happen less frequently and I find myself in a better space and enjoying life more as time goes on.

Working with this process somehow opened a doorway. I could feel a stronger connection to my source as I breathed through the feelings. This presence was very grounding for me. It gave me a lot of strength and brought me to a place of greater self-acceptance and self appreciation.

Initially I would work with this practice when I was going through times of distress. I would often forget about the practice when things were going well. I continued to come back to the practice over the years. Over time I began to experiment and develop many different applications. Working with this practice led me to discover a vast inner universe. I gradually integrated this process into my healing practice and started teaching it to all my clients.

Iím work with this process every day now. And I continue to learn and discover more as I go. Sometimes I forget and get caught up in the drama that unfolds in my life. But Iím getting better about recognizing whatís happening in the moment. Getting thrown off balance at times has its value, because it can show can us where we have work to do.

Working with this practice makes it possible to go right to the source of the underlying issues that impact your life. Dysfunctional patterns wired into the body-mind are dismantled so that new growth can take place. The greater awareness you experience allows you to understand the patterns that have run your life. This gives you the power to create more of what you want in life.

I find this process to be one of the most powerful tools to help you connect with your soul or the source of your being. And with time and continued practice you will feel this presence flowing more powerfully within your body as you move through the world.
